Start your morning with a delicious detour from a regular cup of joe. This Apple Butter Latte is a dreamy mashup of rich espresso, creamy oat milk, and perfectly spiced apple butter with major coffeeshop vibes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsweetened oat milk or almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon apple butter
  • 1 teaspoon butterscotch sauce or caramel sauce (optional)
  • 1 shot (1.35 ounces) strong, hot espresso

Instructions
 

To make a hot latte

  • Combine the oat milk, apple butter, and butterscotch. Steam and froth the milk
  • Pour in the espresso.

To make an iced latte

  • Combine the oat milk, apple butter, and butterscotch in a tall glass. Whisk until smooth (the caramel may not fully incorprate into the milk; that's ok!)
  • Add ice.
  • Pour in the espresso.
